Cabin Fusion, A Couples Getaway

Windward House is a place where old meets new. A Shenandoah Valley vacation rental curated for couples who are looking for a charming mountain retreat. The house combines the aesthetic of Mid-Century Modern, with eclectic and rural Mountain Log Cabin. This unique vacation home’s vibe is warm and relaxing, yet with a streamline feel. Partially a restored log cabin, and partially a newer dwelling, Windward House gives visitors the best of both worlds — rustic yet contemporary.

A Sense of Place

01

Windward House has been completely designed for a great guest experience. From the plush beds, to cooking in the newly renovated (and well outfitted) kitchen, to checking out what's on Apple TV, you will feel like your every need has been curated just for you. If outdoors is what you crave, you will love the amazing mountain views from the front porch. Better yet, you can visit over the fence with the horse and donkeys when they come to say "hello". Your stay will make you feel like you're away from it all, and in a very special place.

With local wineries and micro brews to tour in both Rockbridge and Augusta Counties, you can come back to Windward House and chill with your favorite beverage at your personal bar. And maybe, play a few tunes on the ukulele? (Yeah, you know you want to do it ; )
